TangoNova is a tango house from Manizales, Colombia, composing with artificial intelligence as a co-composer and finishing the work by human ear. It releases through its own label, TangoNova Entertainment, runs milongas across the coffee region, and stages Robot Tango, a show with a dancer in a silver helmet.

TangoNova began in Manizales as a mother-and-son project, and a question: what would happen if tango were reborn in the age of machines. It composes tangos, valses and milongas with an AI as co-composer, and decides by human ear what stays. It releases through its own label, TangoNova Entertainment, distributed worldwide. Along the way it named two genres that did not exist: RoboTango, where the machine sings in the first person, and Tango Corrido, which tells a whole case the way a corrido would. Live, it runs milongas across the coffee region and stages Robot Tango, whose ambassador Bandó dances with the audience and keeps a surprise for the end.
