Milonga
El Robot y la Rosa
A robot walks into the milonga in steel and a shiny tie, and one woman dares to dance with him.
The story behind it
The premise is a joke and the ending is not. He arrives in steel, the women look and do not move, and one of them, la rosa, takes his metal hand and tells him not to be afraid. By the third verse he has learned the thing no circuit taught him, which is that tango is not programmed. Then the bridge: she asks who he is, and he takes off the mask. What is under the steel is a look, from a man who found his poet in the tango. Anyone who has seen Bandó dance will recognise the moment, and this song wrote it down first.
Lyrics
